Managing partner, mediator
Judit began her professional career as an in-house corporate counsel for a market leader
Hungarian motor vehicle company. Following the bar exam in 2000, she has been practicing as an
attorney-at-law. She gained wide-ranging egal and leadership experience as a corporate lawyer,
dealing with all sorts of activities of holdings and mid-size firms. Besides representing the
business community, Judit specialized in family law matters. For years, she has been active as
a mediator in resolving family and corporate conflicts, enabling parties to prevent litigation.
Judit has been providing pro bono legal counsel for major non-governmental organizations as
well.
Judit graduated with an MA in Law and Political Sciences from the Eötvös Loránd University in
Hungary in 1997. The Budapest Bar Association admitted her as an attorney-at-law in 2000. Judit
holds an LL.M. in Family Law from the Institute of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University in
Hungary. She received her training as a mediator at Bar Kochba Institute and Mediation for
Families in Hungary.

Zoltan I. Gabor
Senior associate, mediator
Before beginning his legal practice, Zoltán served in management positions in the Hungarian
foreign service, including postings in the US and India. He began his civil service career
as a European law expert at the Hungarian Ministry of Justice in 1995, worked as a trainee
at the Legal Service of the European Commission, and the legal advisor to the Delegation of
the European Commission to Hungary. He was a member of EU member states’ legal expert group
drafting the EU’s founding Lisbon Treaty. Until recently, Zoltán served as the head of
consular and visa operation in South Asia for Hungary based in New Delhi, India and
specialized in EU immigration law, Schengen visa policy and European family law.
Zoltán holds an MA in International Relations and World Order from the University of Leicester
in the UK, studied law at the University of Liège in Belgium, and graduated with an MA in Law
and Political Sciences from the Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary. He received his training as
a mediator at the Mediation for Families in Hungary.

Judit Gyolcs Law Firm is downtown Budapest on the 1st Floor of the landmark residential
building at the northeast corner of Akadémia utca and Széchenyi utca.
Parking Directions:
There is metered parking and limited disabled parking around Akadémia utca. LipótGarázs,
located at Szabadság tér 17. (entrance from the southeast corner of the square on Sas utca)
is the nearest public parking facility less than two blocks from the office. It is open
Monday to Sunday, 24 hours.
Transit Directions:
The nearest Metro stops are Kossuth Lajos tér (Metro line 2) and Arany János utca (Metro
line 3) stations.
